In case you’ve been living under a rock in the miles and points world the last couple of months, Chase came out with a new credit card that earns some pretty killer travel benefits. One of those is a $300 travel credit each year. And, one of the more liberal definitions of “travel”. In this case, you can use it for tickets to Disneyland Hong Kong.
Special thanks to Perry Platypus (fellow Disney nerd) for pointing this one out to me:
@pizzainmotion @TheDealMommy @asthejoeflies @BachFancy So @ViatorTravel is now selling discounted DLHKG Tickets & CSR will credit it back.

He notes it’s a small discount on the tickets themselves (5-10%). They offer a number of different packages on their website. But, every penny counts, especially when you’re dealing with Disney. And, you can use your $300 annual travel credit towards the purchase of these tickets. He provided me with a couple screenshots from his account as proof of the credit.
The Final Two Pennies
Add this to the long list of ways to earn that $300 travel credit with your Chase Sapphire Reserve. And, if you don’t have the card, keep Viator Travel in mind in case you’re looking for discounts.

what about Disneyland Tokyo?
Mcbelisle, I haven’t seen any discount tickets through travel agencies for them, but I’ll ask around.
For Disneyland/DisneySea I bought directly at the hotel Sheraton. The lines at the park at opening can be very long.
I went to Disneyland Hong Kong a few weeks ago. Park was pretty good. Glad I skipped the mine train ride because this one is pretty hairy. It is not like the ride in the US. It goes backwards etc. I was on the new Iron man ride which just opened. It is just the old Star Wars ride with a Iron man theme. A little disappointing. Other than that it was ok. I think I liked Disney Tokyo somewhat better. Get here early and beat alot of the crowds. THe chinese typically do not get here early. Took a cab from Hyatt Downtown Hong Kong as I decided to skip the subways. Cabs are pretty cheap.
Robert, I have been to either HKG or Tokyo. How long would you block at each park for a family of two kids?
Disneyland HKG you only need one day. But Disneyland and DisneySea I would do 3 to 4. Personally love DisneySea since many of those attractions were slotted original for US parks and are now unique to Tokyo. Sheraton is on the resort train line. So fifth night free anyone?
Platypus, I think I’d have to renew my relationship with PH Tokyo if I returned. 🙂
The parks must be big to need that much time. Assume English is spoken enough for us Americans to get around the parks?
I am at disney see now. Was at disney sea now. Was at Disney tokyo yesterday
